We are pleased to announce our keynote speakers for the Monitoring Bioeconomy conference on December 3-4 in Berlin.
Dr. Felix Prinz zu Löwenstein, agronomist and organic farmer, will share his perspectives on "Prerequisites for a Sustainable Bioeconomy". Felix zu Löwenstein is a board member of the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture in Germany (FiBL Germany) and was a member of the German government's Bioeconomy Council (2020-2023). He is particularly dedicated to sustainable land use, the human right to food and the challenges of closing material cycles.
Dr. Robert M'Barek, agricultural economist at the European Commission, Joint Research Center, will draw on his long research experience working with the EU Bioeconomy Monitoring System. His presentation is entitled: "EU's monitoring of the bioeconomy in a dynamic context".
